Rockwell Hardness Tester
Rockwell hardness value is determined by measuring the residual depth of the indent made by the indenter, taking 0.002 mm as a unit of hardness. Different indenter and different test force used in Rockwell test will produce different combinations, corresponding to different scales of Rockwell hardness. There are three commonly used Rockwell scales, covering nearly all commonly used metal materials.
Rockwell hardness tester is suitable for quenched, tempered, annealed, chilled castings, malleable castings, hard alloy steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, bearing steels, etc.
